OPPORTUNITY by zAmya Theater Project
Join zAmya at the Nicollet Theater in the Round starting at 11a Fridays, June 7 and 14 for OPPORTUNITY, a free, live, and interactive “forum” theater performance with participants from performance skills training workshops at Minneapolis Central Library. (Weather permitting). Audience will be invited to join performers and rehearse personal and societal transformation.
zAmya Zone– Dramatic Encounters

Pop-in to the Pop-up Open House
Stop by the Mpls Downtown Improvement District’s first open house of the season, Tuesday, June 4 from 4–6p, at the DID Pop-up Satellite Office on the first floor of Gaviidae Common between 6th and 7th streets. You can chat with an ambassador, play games, and learn more about our work downtown– all while enjoying free popcorn and lemonade.

DID’s 10th Birthday Block Party

Stories in the Park
This program takes place on Wednesdays at Cancer Survivors Park at Marquette Plaza (250 Nicollet Mall).
Join us for stories, songs, and activities outside this summer!
For children of all ages and their caregivers. Feel free to bring a blanket to sit on. In case of inclement weather, storytime will take place in the Imagination Room in the Children’s Library. Presented by the Minneapolis Central Library.
Nicollet Farmers Market
The Minneapolis Farmers Market returns to Nicollet every Thursday throughout the 2019 growing season, located between 6th and 9th streets. Vendors provide a variety of fresh locally grown produce, flowers, cheese, meat, honey, salsa, hot sauce, bread and numerous other homestead goods.
